Privacy

Astro-Log asks for something unusually personal — the date, time and place you were born — because there is no way to compute your chart without it. This page says plainly what we hold, who touches it, and how to make it go away.

What we collect

• Your name and email. The name is used to address your brief; the email is how it reaches you and how you sign in.
• Your birth date, birth time and birthplace (including the coordinates and timezone of that place). This is the input to your natal chart and nothing else.
• Your current timezone and preferred delivery hour, so the brief lands in your morning rather than ours.
• Notification subscriptions, if you turn notifications on — one record per browser or device, containing the push endpoint your browser issues and the keys needed to encrypt a message to it.
• Which briefs were sent to you and when, so we don't send the same morning twice.

We do not ask for a password. Signing in works by emailing you a single-use link that expires in fifteen minutes.

Who else touches it

We keep the list short deliberately. Each of these gets the minimum needed to do its job:

• Turso — the database your account lives in.
• Resend — sends your briefs and sign-in links. Receives your email address and the content of the brief.
• Anthropic — turns the computed chart data into readable prose. Receives your first name and the filtered astrology payload for that day. It does not receive your email address, your birth time, your birthplace or your coordinates.
• Vercel — hosts the site, and provides privacy-preserving traffic analytics that set no cookies and build no cross-site profile.
• Your browser's push service (Apple, Google or Mozilla, depending on your device) — carries notifications to you. The notification text passes through it, encrypted.
• Open-Meteo— when you type a city into the signup form, your browser asks Open-Meteo's geocoding service to turn it into coordinates. That request goes directly from your device.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you for anyone else's purposes.

Gifts

If someone gifts you a subscription, they are never asked for your birth details and never shown them. You enter your own, through your own link. The person who paid learns nothing about your chart.

Cookies

One cookie, and it is the session cookie that keeps you signed in for thirty days. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays for as long as your account does. Briefs we have written for you stay in your archive so you can read them back. If you unsubscribe, delivery stops but your account remains until you ask us to delete it.

Getting rid of it

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe that needs no login. To have the account and the birth data behind it deleted outright, ask through our support form using the address you signed up with, and we will delete it.

Children

Astro-Log is not intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect birth data from them.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, the date at the top changes and we'll say so by email rather than quietly editing it.
